Hernando Sportsman’s Club is now a sanctioned American Rimfire Association (ARA) club.

WHAT IS ARA?
The American Rimfire Association is the sanctioning body for 22lr benchrest competitions with clubs spanning the USA. Both the Unlimited and Factory Class have 20 minutes to shoot a 25-bull target with ONE shot per bull at 50 yards for a maximum score of 2500 plus X count.

WHO IS ARA?
ARA includes a group of individuals, of all ages, who enjoy precision and striving to always hit the dot! Competitors ages 7-17 compete in the ARA Junior Division but are also included in Senior Division rankings. Many competitors travel the country shooting at multiple clubs; while others stay at their home club and enjoy their local competition.

MONTHLY MATCHES!
Matches will be on the 1st Friday of each Month starting at 8am. Competitors will register and compete in either Unlimited Class or Factory Class (or even both!). We have 14 benches and our matches will consist of 4 targets.

Registration will be through an email sent one week prior to the scheduled match. You MUST reply to the specific monthly registration email to be included on the competitor/match list.

All matches are open to the public and there will be shooters from outside our area and other clubs joining the competition.

Cost will be $15 for HSC members, $25 for non-members.
Juniors 7-17 are FREE.

You MUST sign up as an ARA member (this is FREE) in order to compete. All score reporting for national, state, and club rankings will be with your ARA number.
FACTORY CLASS competitors need to review and understand the RULES and restrictions found on the ARA website (AmericanRimfire.com).
All match information will be posted on our “Club” page.
