Firearms Safety
and Shooting Course
The Hernando Sportsman's Club, an NRA affiliate, has
sponsored programs for over 30 years to help promote safety
in the shooting sports. A class in firearms safety and shooting
is offered twice each month which will also qualify for
application of a carry permit.
Class size is
limited and pre-registration is required. Cost of the
course is 60.00. The class is approximately 5-6 hours in
length including "live fire on the range". Classes begin
at 9:00 a.m. in the clubhouse at the Hernando
Sportsman's Club range. All equipment and materials are
provided i.e. eyewear, earplugs, firearm and ammo.
Please be sure to call to pre-register and to confirm
that the class will be held for the date you are registering.
Classes must have a minimum of 5 students or the class will
be re-scheduled for the next date.
