The club hosts a variety of firearm sporting activities every month.  From Bowling pin to silhouette matches, the Hernando Sportsman's Club offers something for everyone.  Most of the matches are open to the public and all of them are open to NRA members.

Competition dates are listed in the club newsletter which can be obtained for free at the club.  Pistol matches include Bullseye, Bowling Pin, and IPSC.  Rifle matches are held in High Power, Silhouette, and Action Rifle.  Shotgunners enjoy shooting 5 Stand, Skeet and Trap 6 days a week
